Vibratory sifter :
Sifter is used for sifting of material through different size of sieve for obtained a uniform material or remove coarse material. In vibratory sifter uniform material (as per sieve mesh) pass through sieve and collect from discharge chute of sifter . Where coarse size material remain on the sieve. It is widely used in pharmaceutical and food products industry.
Principal :-
Vibratory sifter is working on the principal of gyratory vibrations. The material is separated based onp particle size. Once the motor gets energized, vibration is caused in the sieve making the material travel across the sieves according to its particle size.
Parts of vibratory sifter:-
1. Material inlet
2. Frame
3. Anti vibratory springs
4. Vibratory motor
5. Base frame
1. Material inlet:-
Material inlet present in the top frame of vibratory sifter . Through material inlet Feed material of different size or which is to be pass through sifter.
2. Frame :-
mainly three frame in a single layer vibratory sifter
(I) frame:- which have matrial inlet . Is assemble on the top of vibratory sifter .
(II) Middle frame:- how many middle frame in a vibratory sifter it depend on the type of vibratory sifter .
A. Single layer – only have one middle fram
B. Double layer – two middle frame
C. Three layer – three middle frame
D. Four layer – four middle frame
E. Five layer – five middle frame
Layered vibratory sifter is used for separation of different sized materials . Separation of material is depend on size of sieve used on different layer . Mainly lower mesh size sieve kept on the top of vibratory sifter frame.
(III) Bottom frame :-
outlet of material present in it .
3. vibratory springs:-
springs allow vibratory sifter to vibrate freely and prevent the vibration from reaching floor. It hold the top part of vibratory sifter.
4. Vibratory motor:-
it responsible for generate multiple plan vibration .this motion increase the rate at which the material pass through the various sieve.To achieve the plan multiple vibration the machine come with out -of -balance weight assembly.
5. Base frame :-
vibratory motor attached in it . Also the machine ON/Off controller present in the base frame . For free movement of vibratory sifter from one place to another place wheel present which attached from base frame
The size and motor used inside the vibratory sifter it depend on the production capacity and design of equipment
